from grey to blue

Meredith and Neal tied the knot on September 15th - a date I'm pretty partial to, as it's my anniversary, too! The day started out pretty cloudy, but ended with amazing blue skies and a beautiful sunset. She got ready with her three sisters at her grandmother's house, right on the water in Scituate.

The ceremony was around the corner at the beautiful Saint Mary of the Nativity Church.

We did some pictures at the Scituate lighthouse before heading over to the Scituate Harbor Yacht Club for the reception.

Meredith made a guest book with prints from their engagement session, it looked great!

This guy was a huge ham - he saw me coming and dipped himself!!

It was too dry for the guests to do a sparkler send off, but they made great favors.

standing room only

It was a packed house at the Martha Mary Chapel in Sudbury for Kristen & Dan's wedding on September 8th.

Kristen's parents signed up to cat-sit for her while they went on their honeymoon to Italy!

When I get caught up with weddings, I'm going to put together some galleries of great dresses, hairstyles, cakes, etc. This will definitely be an entry!

Frugal Flower did the flowers. I've worked with them before and their flowers are simply gorgeous.

So, I've seen a lot of (fantastic-looking!) false eyelashes this year, but these are all Kristen!

LOVED the color of the bridesmaid dresses!

This little girl just grabbed her mom's purse and made a break for the door before the ceremony.

We did pictures at the Grist Mill across the street after the ceremony.

This was one of the greatest things I've seen this season! They had a lot of young guests, so they had a small tent next to the main one with a clown and another person that had games, balloon animals, activities, cupcake decorating, and movies throughout the whole day.

room with a view

Lila and Seth hosted all their friends and family for a true Boston weekend - Red Sox, Duck Tours, and a killer view of our city! Lila looked absolutely amazing, very old hollywood glamour. Linnea Tangorra was on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly, and Lila and Seth had nothing to worry about. They saw each other for the first time in the Public Garden and we did all of their pictures.

Lila's favorite gift from Seth - "Pug"

The ceremony and reception were in the Cityside room of the State Room. The ceremony combined Jewish and Indian traditions to honor both of their backgrounds.

I love these placecards, Lila made them herself!

Someone put out chairs with arms for the Hora, but the guests didn't see them, so you can see everyone clinging on for dear life!

Lila wore her grandmother's ring -

The band, Grippo Funk Band, was totally fun and some featured musicians that toured with Phish.

As if all of the other fabulous food wasn't enough, they capped off the evening with passed mini-milkshakes and cheeseburgers!

abudant sunshine, winds 15-25 mph

That was the forecast for Abby & Pete's wedding at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate in Ipswich. Abby was was such a good sport about the wind, considering she was wearing most of her hair down!

This picture is SO abby.......

I love this quote on the side of the Boston Chauffeur van - When being late is not an option. That truly is the case for weddings!

Their ceremony was at the beautiful First Parish Church in Manchester by the Sea. I shot Sarah & John's wedding there in June.

I loved the overlays they had on the tables, the theme was pink and green.

Abby & her mom!

In addition to the cake, they had passed mini ice cream sandwiches and cheesecake pops rolled in Heath bar crunch. How can you possibly resist that?

sue and mike

Sue and Mike and their ginormous wedding party had a great time at the Saphire Manor. They opted to see each other beforehand and do all of their pictures.

I love these bags she bought for all of her (TEN!) maids......

This little guy almost stole the show!

Just married!

About 10 minutes after we got this sunset picture it started pouring!

Everyone loved the chocolate fountain - they even had mint oreos.

I don't know what it is this year, but everyone has been going nuts on the dance floor, I love it.
